How do I place an order?
Feel free to contact us by phone, fax,
email, or mail. We
accept personal or company checks, cashier's checks,
American Express, MasterCard and Visa. Sales tax is applied
to orders shipped to California (7.75%).
What is the shipping policy?
Prices shown on our site do not include
shipping costs.
Standard shipping is FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery.
FedEx Express service is available at an additional charge.
In stock merchandise usually is processed and leaves our
fulfillment center within 3-10 business days. Plein Air
Frames will let you know at checkout or by a follow-up
message if the merchandise you have selected is not
currently in stock or if we need to confirm availability.
DUE TO CERTAIN RESTRICTIONS, SIZES 16X20 AND ABOVE MAY BE
SUBJECT TO A SPECIAL HANDLING SURCHARGE OF $10.00 PER FRAME.
Shipping for oversized items is available only to
destinations in the Continental United States. If you order
items with different stock availability - for example, an
in-stock item along with a back-ordered item - each item
will ship as soon as it's ready.
When will my order arrive?
The delivery transit time for in-stock (non-oversized) items
is (5-7) five to seven business days. Destinations outside
of the Continental United States and oversized items may
take longer.
How are the frames made?
Our ready-made frames (and 2000/2100/2200 series custom sizes) are
constructed from solid wood or composition over wood and
hand finished after they are assembled. Some frames include
enhancements made from composite materials. Our
7000 Series
custom
frames are constructed from pre-finished solid wood moulding. The visibility of the corner seam or miter varies,
depending on the construction and finish of each frame
style. Note: Frames made from solid wood will naturally
expand and contract.
What type of finishes are available?
Each frame has its own unique finish, which is a combination
of gold tone metal leaf and various applied colorings. We
strive for maximum consistency, but our finishes may vary
slightly from frame to frame and can be mildly irregular in
color or appearance.
What does shipping cost?
Ground domestic shipping for frames smaller than 16X20 is
10%. There is a $10.00 minimum shipping charge for all frame
orders under $100. Our shipping rates are combined with our
Quantity Discounts.
Can an order be cancelled?
If we are able to cancel your order before it is produced
and/or shipped, there is no charge for the cancellation. If
the product has been shipped, you will be responsible for
all inbound and outbound shipping charges. These charges
will be deducted from your refund.
What is the return policy?
Plein Air Frames offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
